Our Team
Don Croghan
Don has been in public accounting since graduating from Coe College in 1979. Don really enjoys working with his clients to solve any kind of business-related challenge. Don and his wife, Kathie, have called Knoxville home since 1982 and has worked in this office all that time, plus three years of work in the Des Moines area. Don enjoys almost any kind of sport, especially running.
Robby Evinger
Robby is the Administrative Assistant for our firm and is the central point of contact for the office. Robby has been with the firm for over 34 years. Along with her great multi-tasking skills, Robby handles payroll setup and processing, payroll tax preparation and bookkeeping services. Robby is secretary/treasurer on two local boards and is always involved in a community project!
Angela VandeKamp
Angela has over 24 years of experience with the firm. A lifelong resident of Knoxville, she received her degree from Central College and passed the CPA exam shortly thereafter. Angela works on individual, corporate and partnership tax returns, and preparation of financial statements and payroll taxes. She and her husband, Troy, have a daughter, Bailey, and a son, Ben. In her spare time, you will find her outside on a walk or run, inside baking something, or reading a good book.
Matt Russell
Matt is a 2001 Knoxville graduate. After a short tour in the US Navy, Matt moved back to Knoxville to raise his family. Matt married his high school sweetheart and they have two wonderful children. He graduated from AIB with Bachelor degrees in accounting and business administration and passed CPA exam soon after. Matt has been working at Croghan + Russell, CPA for over 15 years, and became an owner of the firm in 2021. He enjoys spending time with family and friends. He looks forward to working with you for many years to come!
